Pink Patchwork Vintage Welsh Blanket Cushion Cover

Small pieces of damaged Welsh blanket, patchworked together to make a one of a kind cushion cover. The front includes pieces from the Derw, Cwmgwili and Cambrian Mills as well as some pieces of hand made narrow loom blankets. Backed with a panel made from the strips cut from a shrunken Welsh check blanket c1950's

These vintage Welsh blankets are far too precious to waste any piece! Unique and handmade, the cover is made to fit a 45cm (18") pad of your choice – in the interests of being eco friendly (frugal!) I only sell cushion covers, as we all have our favourite cushion inner which can be reused.

Zip closure to the bottom with a Hebodah’s House label, these can be handwashed at 20 degrees using a gentle soap. Made with blankets from the 1960’s and earlier, the fabric will not be perfect, but this adds to the charm!
