Purple Stripe Patchwork Welsh Blanket Cushion Cover

One of a kind patchwork cushion cover made from various strips of vintage Welsh blankets including Caernarfon tapestry, plaid and traditional Carthen.

Backed with early 1900's Carthen in Cream, Lilac, Pink and Orange.

These much loved Welsh blankets are far too precious to waste any piece. This unique, handmade patchwork cushion cover has been made with blankets from the 1960’s and earlier, the fabric will not be perfect, the pattern may be a little 'out' in places, but this adds to the charm!

There may be some signs of wear due to age, as with all vintage wool it has been washed and stretched many times.

The cover has been made to fit a 14 inch x 22 inch pad of your choice. Zip closure to the bottom with a Hebodah’s House label, these can be handwashed at 20 degrees using a gentle soap
