Welsh Blanket Hanging Star Decoration

Patchworked Hanging Star Decorations made from smaller pieces of damaged, vintage Welsh blankets, each one is unique.

Measuring approx 6" with a jute string hanger, lightly stuffed with polyester with a Hebodah's House wooden button to the front and a wooden star button to the back.

All of these are backed with cream flannel from a narrow loom blanket, made in the middle 1800's, and heirloom from a family in Treharris, a mining town in the Welsh valleys.

This blanket was used by them until the mid 1970's
